What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga. ~International Association of Yoga Therapists

Yoga Therapy uses traditional Yoga practices, including movement, breath work, and mindfulness to cultivate a sense of well-being within the client.

Why Yoga Therapy?

Unlike a traditional yoga class, this is not a vinyasa based practice, though movement may be prescribed. Yoga Therapy is taught in private individual sessions, or small group sessions with a specific health need in mind. Through intake and inquiry, a personalized practice will be used to treat the specific health needs of each individual, or small group.
